About: Personal
My name is Brian Cavner. I am 24-years-old, born in 1985 on Valentine's Day, February 14. I am of the belief that this fact makes me inherently adorable.
I was born in San Diego, where I spent the first 8,197 days of my life. In that time, I graduated from Rancho Buena Vista High School in 2003, and from the University of California San Diego in 2007, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am currently living in Portland, Oregon, where I am a second-year student at Lewis and Clark School of Law.
I boast an interesting history of employment, including time working as a tour guide, a nutrition consultant for dogs, a standardized test instructor, and sex toy demonstrator. I have also earned money as a freelance writer, editor, and photographer.
In my free-time, I like art (charcoal and oil pastel), photography (Canon 30D), acting (stage and improvisational), and playing recreational sports (softball and volleyball). I enjoy Kurt Vonnegut, Edward Norton, Reba McEntire, and tigers. I am equally at ease discussing the merits of an oligarchical government, and what flavor of pie is best. I am proud to be called anything between intellectual and patently silly.
I am an only child and only occasionally act like one. This may account for the existence of my open book online presence at briancavner.com since 2001. Please enjoy.
